Ran across these two old pics of my son. He got tired of waiting for his team’s turn on the soccer field, so he laid face down in the grass. I think we should normalize this behavior. It shows that yes, you’re still patiently waiting (for your appointment, for the flight to board), but you’re kind of pissed that it’s taking so long.

I hardly ever carry cash but today I needed to take out a relatively large amount of cash (for us). The only bills left in the ATM were tens and ones. 😑 Anyway, after I counted the money and folded it in half, it turned into a big wad like something you’d see in a movie. We’re going to replace our 20 year-old gas lawnmower with an electric one, so I keep searching online to try to find the best deal. Men’s pubic hair trimmers keep showing up when I search for lawnmowers (example below), which kind of makes me worried for some of you guys and what you’ve got going on below the belt.

@amiserabilist I’ve never found it to be as painful as they always make it out to be in movies and TV shoes. I feel like they exaggerate for comedic effect. 😄

@KentuckyConjurer @amiserabilist The whole reason my dad’s side of the family ended up in Western Kentucky is because in the 1800’s, two brothers from Virginia had to quickly leave after they were accused of shooting the sheriff. I have no idea if they actually did it. In any case, any time I hear the song “I Shot the Sheriff“ I think to myself, that should be our family anthem. 😄
