@atomicpoet @socialmedianews That creates a lot of questions for me, given that I don&#39;t like Meta in general - never had a FB or IG account. Once they start I will check how to stay secure of them - if necessary block each and every account from there or even put an lock on mine here.

@stux Sounds ... great.Is there a place where I can find information about what the different types of this do? I stick to mastodon now - I somehow worked out how it works and what I can do here. I do have a pixelfed account, like it, but sure don&#39;t use half of it&#39;s features (btw., thank you, Stux, I am on pixey) - but I am a bit overwhelmed by all the new possibilities, now Geddit - and any number of others. I try to keep pace but somehow it all makes me really feel old.

@freistern Das fiel mir auch auf - die vielen Menschen, deren Lebensunterhalt vom Tourismus abhängt, bekommen existenzielle Probleme. Gut, Tourismus, Massentourismus, ist umweltschädlich, stimmt. Aber die Sichtweise der dort Arbeitenden kommt mir in der Diskussion hier ein wenig zu kurz.@IngridAusOL @klimagerecht_leben

@redcat Das. Genau das.Aber in D geht das noch weiter: Menschen mit bestimmten Nachnamen bekommen keine Bankkonten mehr oder ihre werden gekündigt (Realtität!), keine Wohnung, Arbeit ... Je mehr das vom Staat als Kriterium benutzt wird, desto mehr wirkt es sich auf das Alltagsleben und all die rassistischen Mikroaggressionen aus.
