An old picture for #insektensamstag I haven't been in Donauinsel for a while. I feel like going back this summer to see if I can find some mummified aphids.On this picture you cannot see them very well, but they're here ! Aphids who found their doom hosting a parasitic wasp. Their hardened exoskeleton remains.The fourth thing on the picture (after the aphids, mummified aphids, ladybirds) is probably a syrphid puparium but I'm really not sure.#insects #nature #diptera #fly #ecology #parasite

First time seeing a robber fly inside the city. It was quite chill, I could take some close up pictures!I also saw a Ammophila digger wasp that wasn't as chill, I could only look at it from a distance :blobcat: #nature #insects #fly #asilidae #MiniatureHelicopter
