@discatte I think I have over 30 GeForce cards now, from the GF2 up to a 30 series. Also Voodoo 2, 3, 5, and a bunch of Radeon, and some VLB video cards. And piles of sound blasters. And weird cards.

Oh and I live 90km from them. And I haven't been invited over just to spend time with them since before COVID. And they came over my house one time, and turned down multiple holiday invites.

@petrillic It's very tiring. I've been an exporter from China for over 25 years now. More recently, comments about Chinese products are met with "you're being racist towards the Chinese" if they're negative, and "you're being an anti-American commie" when positive.Yesterday, I got a written warning from Amazon for talking positively about a hand made product from China, citing content violation. I think they considered it biased.

I bought 3 sets of shelves, while thinking to myself, "it's more than I want to spend this month, but I need them and I shouldn't be making any more large purchases."20 minutes later, my kitchen sink faucet bursts between the line and the valve spraying water absolutely everywhere and requiring myself to buy a new faucet.

This Dell XPS tower from the early 00s is such a cool thing. It weighs a ton and has kinda crap airflow, but I always thought they were super cool cases.Maybe I'll stuff a system in it some day. Maybe I'll even rebuild it as it was when new, and source the OEM parts. Idk. (Alt text describes the front and side views of a silver XPS case with black vents on the front)

@discatte I agree. But I'm happy I found this one in the trash across from my house. It has nothing but a floppy, a media card reader, and a DVD drive in it.Oh and the heatsink and duct, and some random wires and fans.
