@mardiroos a Hair Cut is merely another Curation of the Self, but cutting your nails is a Curation of the SOUL. #EveryoneKnowsThis

@lunch I really hate being called Chief or Boss.Even "Brother" bothers me a little, but that is just my hangup. People who call others Brother or Sister generally have good hearts, or come from a culture which uses those terms. It just wasn't something I grew up with. But no, I'm not a Chief or a Boss. Don't call me that.

@scarlettestone @lunch A meme for some, but the people who call me that do not even know what a meme is. I'm talking about encounters in meat space, not online (recognizes meat space is dated lol)

@mardiroos @pbandkate Dear Sam, the Daibutsu hopes you have recovered from your vanity addiction, which is one of the worst ones to kick.If you need a reference for rehab, just let him know.

The Daibutsu reminds everyone that all economic theory is invalid as it does not consider the needs of all life.We are all part of this world. We all know suffering & pain. The child in Syria who lost her parents and a leg to a bomb and the child in America dying from cancer caused by environmental pollution needs more than any economic theory can provide.Take a moment to think about someone you know who is in pain. What do they need? What can you offer them? Then offer it. #RightAction

@mardiroos @esvrld The Daibutsu says that statement does not reflect the Dharma he teachesBut of others wish to believe this, he is not terribly concerned. Nonsensical beliefs are ot necessarily harmful so long as one practices right action.

@mardiroos Sam, this is not what is a part of the doctrine of Innumerable Meanings.Nevertheless, the Daibutsu laughed his ass off (not easy to do for a large green bronze statue). So, on his behalf I say LMAO

@mardiroos Or an example of ultimate humiliation and panic, but let us not quibble about the Dharma, let us be bullish on bears.

@mardiroos As long as the masto user's toot offering was given to support the poor in spirit (those whose toots have received no boosts IOW) the Daibutsu says this is fine with him.

PSA: ClimateThe Daibutsu says: In all the millions of universes in which the millions of Buddhas have taught the Dharma, only in this one has a sentient species actively worked to destroy the environment that makes life possible.Teaching the dharma through skillful means cannot eradicate selfishness in all people. Thus, the Buddha Way requires that right action be taken to oppose the behavior of those too selfish to care that they are killing life on Earth. That is all.
