@raccoon K9-Mail has the same functionality as thunderbird, as it's just thunderbird but with another branding. K9-Mail is part of Thunderbird now ^^

@raccoon yes. As far as I know, K9-Mail has *all* the same features. It's just a different branding for those people who want a canine instead of a bird.

Hm... so this new AI thing from @gitea ... it's definitely interesting, and many people aren't reading, again.So, what did they do?They basically created an API client that is usable for LLMs - meaning that LLMs can now directly interact with Gitea. It's not integrated into the server by itself, and nobody is required to use it. Basically, it's HTTP ↔ MCP. It's like an API client for a programming language. So it's not a bad thing in itself.Also, this client by itself doesn't crawl other sites / uses data that was crawled from other sites, since it's literally just an API client.BUT (!) you have to use an existing LLM model using a client (e.g. Cursor) to be able to use this API client. Now that's the interesting part... I don't know if there's actually a good LLM that only learned from data that it was allowed to use. This means, that Gitea kind of promotes using LLMs that crawled people's sites without their permission.Sadly, the screenshots shown in the blog post by Gitea don't show what model they are using, so we can't tell if they are using a good or a bad model. (Though, I'm not sure if we specifically need to know that in this case.)Anyway, I'm always happy to see people switch to @forgejo. I, personally, used it almost since I started moving away from GitHub / -Lab and I love it. @raccoon I didn't even run the OOBE, so there isn't any real data on it. I'm just unsure if I should delete everything from it. (It's a system by GMKtec and I don't know if there are special driver software or anything..)If there's nothing, then I guess I can simply not back it up. But if there's anything, I don't wanna lose the windows data. Though, I don't need a full 512 GB .iso file just for a not set up windows.

Okay, woah woah woah WOAH!!!Bing just removed *all* "backlinks" from their Webmaster Tools (that shows all pages linking to my blog).The best part? I now have a "recommendation" that I don't have enough backlinks, which can decrease my visibility on Bing. Like... yeah, you just removed them all. Thanks, I guess.Also, nope, I still haven't received anything from their support.Now... why is Google so much worse again? :areonVThink: ---To be honest, I'd really appreciate some help with this, because I don't *want* to switch back to Startpage. I like DDG with their way of blocking GenAI images and their compatibility with the AI filterlist (uBlock ^^), but when my own blog isn't available there, then I'll get insane. It's not just for me, but... like... everyone who isn't using Google might be using a search engine that uses Bing in the backend (*and some use search engines that build their own index, I know), and that means that they'll never find my blog without directly searching for it and needing to visit other websites first.#bing #google #seo

@raccoon I already did all that. (That's the "Webmaster Tools" I mentioned.)I gave them my sitemaps; I even added all my posts to their manual "IndexNow" page (which... is now gone?) and it even says that my sites can be shown on Bing. They just still don't show up.And now I'm actively lied to by Bing (me having no backlinks). WTF.

@Neotheta @dancrescentwolf This, and some phones also zoom into the image so they can zoom out for some animations. (*cough* Google)I remember I had to draw a rectangle for my wallpaper artist, so she knew where all the important details should be. 😅
