A third Chinese company is about to do their first orbital launch and landing test. There's a very high chance that we will see a successful landing of a Chinese orbital class booster.Landspace is already developing a Raptor 2 FFSC knockoff, for their 10 meter diameter fully reusable "SpaceX Starship" copy. In total, there are eight Chinese companies and organizations developing their own knockoffs of Falcon 9 and Starship.

@judgedread "He could always move to some other country in need of good space engineers."Since China is already copying SpaceX Starship and Falcon 9 (there are eight Chinese companies doing this, with two who have already done their first orbital launch and landing attempts), Elon Musk can help the Russians build their own version instead, if killing the democrats is too much for him.Really depends if such a threat to Elon's SpaceX is three years away or 11 years away. The US aircraft carrier AEGIS combat system is ineffective against hypersonic weapons. Elon Musk is fanatically devoted to Mars colonization, I just don't know how much he is fanatical about that.
