I romanticized everything, always felt rejected despite being told how beautiful I was, felt I had to be in a relationship with a man to be a meaningful person in society. It's all bullshit. Not a single man ever proved to be worth the trouble. I didn't know happiness or contentment until I finally rejected the idea that I needed to appeal to men and started living just for me. When women tell you that you're not missing out, believe them. You're pining after a pipe dream that will only ever lead to disappointment. If a woman does find happiness with a male (while also being honest with herself), she is a very rare exception, not even close to the rule. Pining for a relationship also results too often in settling for the first lame fucker to look at you. That will never, ever end well.

@chilady2022 @Hollahollara 💟💟💟I have 3 rescues rn. A chihuahua I rescued from a puppymill, and 2 cats I adopted from a shelter. I had 4 rescue cats, but I've lost 2 to old age 😔
