Have a sewing machine...meh. Did a quick look-see and all modern sewing machines come under the category of MEH. There is absolutely no reason why modern machines can't have the aesthetics of the past. NONE.

Lord help me. Went to bed at 00:30, tossed n' turned until 02:30 due to all the monkey chatter goin' on in my mind and finally said fuck it...I'm getting up and doing somethin'! Made body butter 'n added Frankincense and Myrrh essential oil to it, made a big jar of Wild Berry tea, listened to music...anywhere from Hell March to INXS to Callejuela de la O and danced whilst doing stuff. It's now about 04:00 and am going for a second attempt at sleep, which means I'll be sleeping in, therefore....GOOD MORNING!!

No LUNCH! today as I'm manifesting as per usual an uninvited dinner party tonight to go to, so saving my appetite. Until then...STEM stuff is fabulous. Video of zero-tolerance machining on 4140 steel, i.e. extreme precision cutting to fit seamlessly like a puzzle w/ no visible gaps. Vid showcases manufacturing capabilities for aerospace or medical devices. Apparently the matte surface is needed as a mirror surface would show the lines. The actual tolerance is 5/10,000ths of an inch (0.0127 mm), 1/8th the thickness of standard copy paper, so...not truly zero-tolerance?Video

Off to dinner. It's always important to know the table setting theme so as to coordinate one's apparel. That cashmere evening sweater I purchased a couple of years ago at a fantastic little retro shop. It's from the 1940s (so not faux fur) in mint condition, it was like $75!!. Look at that lace lining...gorgeous.
