Words cannot really express how happy I am with all this. Yesterday at the #PlayStation concert, a young, blind man sat next to me. We got talking and it turns out he is an accessibility consultant for companies, including video game developers and has worked with Sony on God of War and other products!He goes by his handle: Sightless Kombat. He is entirely #blind from birth, but loves video games so is passionate about accessibility in the sector. I told him to come join Mastodon as I think it’s the friendliest social network for visual impairments, he said he was thinking of joining but wasn’t sure which instance was good. I’m not sure if there is one that’s dedicated to visual impairment? #startrek scarf #knitting update:Today I finished the side profile view of the Deep Space Nine station!There’s only 62 rows left, and they’ll make up the top view of the same station. I do like how, by pure chance, the station sits within the complete spectrum of colour :)This should hopefully all be done in the next few days, I’ve decided to add a fringe to it also, so the next update will be when it’s finished, washed, dried, and ready to be sent to my friend for Christmas.

#retrogaming and #knitting friends, I would love your opinion. I’m going to make my own scarf design, the theme being 8 and 16 bit computer games. I was thinking of the following in order:Atari logo with Pitfall Harry. Sinclair ZX Spectrum logo with Miner Willy. Commodore logo with ????? I was thinking a Lemming but what else would you suggest? Focus being on the 16 bit Amiga era. MS-DOS logo with Doom logo I think. Essentially games that defined a generation. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas? All gratefully received. Please boost for visibility. I intend to make this early next year. I thank you.
