@valleyforge I hope to get a good 3D printer one day. I don't want a gun, not because I'm opposed to them, I just don't want one for myself. I've always been more of a bow hunter. 😉

@timorl @antigravman @sillystring @freemo - Did I really need to be tagged in this thread? My survey was just a simple question about who was planning on watching the inauguration.I probably won't watch, and wanted to see if anyone else planned to. It's not out of respect/dis-respect to anyone, I simply don't typically watch because I'm usually at work (and will be this time as well) and don't really like all the pomp that goes along with it. I will probably catch the highlights (who can avoid them?), but that's about it.

@freemo @srwennekes @sillystring I've seen numerous people talk about his supposed low IQ, most talk about how he actually was appealing to the "lowest common denominator" of the country, choosing to use the simpler words so that those with a fifth grade education could understand him. That takes knowledge and wisdom to successfully pull off.

@freemo @srwennekes @sillystring The difference of course is that someone paid him a helluva lot of money for "being dumb" as you say. I wish I could get someone to pay me 1/4 of what he got. So, he's at least smart enough to game the system.

@freemo @srwennekes @sillystring The kind of intelligence that you are speaking of is highly subjective. I think that is where our disagreement is.On an entirely unrelated subject, since I haven't been on here long, I have to say this debate we have had has been much more civil than any I've had (or tried to have) on Twitter or Facebook.

@freemo Since you mentioned STEM, I don't actually like that tetm because it kind of leaves out the need for Art, I like to refer to it as STEAM, because without art, the rest is meaningless. IMHO.

@freemo I wouldn't want artists with no background in STEM - what I was saying is not reciprocal, I like to see art studied in addition to the other disciplines. I'm in Engineering and math.
