@Gelatinousrube @Hollahollara I swear ADHD can be a superpower! I was sooooooo jealous of my Catholic friend because I assumed since the outside of churches looked Medieval, on the inside everyone wore Medieval clothes and her Sunday school was like slaying dragons and being a princess and stuff.

@Rogue_Koala I agree completely. At so many points for over a decade now I’ve thought ‘okay now people will care about the harm being caused’ but it doesn’t happen.It’s undermining any fight against things like climate change at a conceptual level: how do you fight for scientific truth, and justice for genuinely marginalized people when an unverifiable-if-even-sincerely-held, objectively false idea in a (typically rich, straight, white man’s mind) must by law be treated as literal material reality?
