So, I have an Office 2016 license. When I log onto the Microsoft website and download the Office 2016 installer, I automatically get the Office 365 installer.THAT IS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR!

@wogan it feels like that, yes. I specifically purchased the 2016 license because it is a stand-alone product that does not need a Microsoft server to run ;)

It is just crazy that when you test positive for COVID, an airline says "you'll still have to fly. if you want to change anything it'll be a voluntary change to your booking and you'll be charged accordingly"

I do want to say that the @CakePHP #Cakefest organizers are handling this whole situation very well. From making some calls to see what could be arranged for me to speedily informing attendees to pay close attention to any symptons and getting tested if so. Big kudos to Amanda.

if I could get paid to help charity and non-profits with software development, I would. but a lot of the orgs I see have very limited funds unfortunately.

@alrs the ones I've recently been talking to don't. one is just a single person trying to create a non-profit startup and having trouble getting funding (but the idea is fantastic). the other has been struggling with funds for years already and runs mostly on volunteers. they may have one or two paid employees, but with minimal salaries. it's more a passion project
