       @Linux The Steam Deck proved that a Linux based computer intended for mainstream consumers could succeed in a capitalist market. I genuinely believe Microsoft is trying to stave off the inevitable here.

       @craftyguy Yup. I don't have the dock, but my OG charger looks like it's been thru the ears and I'm about to order a replacement. The overlap between tech people and cat people is so large that this kind of thing really is inexcusable. You know this kind of thing came up in QA testing with every single pet owner lol.

       @stux Take out the crypto part and it's still true. Money isn't real, folks. Doesn't matter what word is used. They're all subjective placeholders for value. The only thing making any currency stable or valuable is enough people agreeing that it is. Of course, supply and demand comes into play, but only artificially. Even the "gold" standard is based on lvl of scarcity vs "oooh, I want that shiny!".
