       #introduction take 2!Hi! I'm Skip; I'm a boring corporate drone who tries to be fun on the internet to compensate. I'm in a few #ttrpg campaigns (as player and GM), I #cosplay , and I'm part of some online communities for #trans folks who grew up religious and still have a lot of thoughts about it. Checking out the #fediverse had been on my to-do list for a while, and the Muskodus moved that to the top of my list, and I'm liking what I see so far!

       Has any source for self-hosted #streaming and broadcasting to the Fediverse risen to prominence yet? In initial research I see #Owncast and #Peertube , though PeerTube seems to not have a chat function so that would be out for my purposes.  Looking to stream games and potentially a podcast.

       Had to crank the settings way down but actually got #ffxiv running at full 3840x1600 and it's glorious. Gotta rethink my UI though.

       @clive I threw a Discord New Years Eve Party during quarantine and it legit ended up being a great time. A bunch of video rooms and categories themed after a house party, each with a max number of users so people had to float between conversations, one room was streaming the ball drop, one had music, one was for Jackbox, etc.
