Just remembered a time in my history. We were engaged in a firefight. Taking names as it were. When the shit calmed down, I decided to take a nap. My Company commander, a CWO from Vietnam era woke me up with a .45 to my eyeball. Said something along the lines of next time I'll be in a body bag. Those were the good old days.

My keeper works for an airline, we get free flying via standby. Kinda fun, we plan them as day trips. Ended up in Portland recently. Fucking nightmare of homeless/unhoused/whatever people. This pic captures the essence of our visit.
