Cousins are doing puppy care for an assistance dog program and we hung out with the puppy yesterday. Lovely 18 week golden lab. It's insane how much you can see the care that's taken with breeding in these dogs.

@Flick @HebrideanHecate I think it's a 20 minute segment. Problem is it requires a surgical diagnosis, not enough skilled surgeons, focus on fertility over quality of life and the best medical option available is throwing the pill at it.The surgery slots are in competition with the gyny oncology slots which obviously should take priority. Ideally I see a scenario where the drs doing endo treatment just do gyny, not OBs as well.

@HebrideanHecate @Flick All my post surgical recovery has been on par with or easier then a large chunk of my periods. I've walked myself to the bathroom as soon as I'm back in the regular ward.But you know some women just have bad periods and I need to get used to them!

@RadicalCartoons They're not supposed to be talking to you, both feet on the ground and arm should be at chest height.Had mine done on Friday (while having a viral throat thing) while they did a history, arm straight by my side and sitting cross legged, and I don't recall the cuff getting tight enough and then they told me it was high!

@LadyMont Saw some 11 year old boys trying to hide their vape drags in the park yesterday. Very high amount of kids around with weirdly chubby hips and lower backs - wondering if the fat distribution is impacted by all the ultraprocessed foods

@HebrideanHecate I know someone who does the wrap around house insulation and advised against it because he has concers about it and mould and the houses not being able to breathe.When I was looking for a house to buy rooms with proper air vents was high on my list

@HebrideanHecate Not sure if this is a thing elsewhere but alot of people my age are adamant the internal house temp should be 21 degrees at all times, especially if there's a baby in the house. Couple this with the poor ventilation in most houses and there's been serious mould problems in every house I rented.
