It takes less time to explain a concept to a single child, or maybe 2 or 3, than it does to 15-30 kids. Then there are the States that require a specified number of hours per day and days per year. 🙄In addition to this, getting them to practice is a bit harder, depending upon the child. A page of math problems becomes something that takes them away from what they'd rather be doing, instead of being something that they're doing alongside other kids. My two didn't get the practice they needed, one fought me, fought public school, fought everybody. The other one enjoyed her own pace and got things done being left to herself.I wish I knew then what I know now. 🙃

The only time I have to stop is if something set off the alarm.I am a wierdo. I used to be a Walmart cashier. I like the self checkout because I don't have to watch some kid rearrange my stuff and smash the bread.I organize things for the cashier so that all they have to do is scan and bag. Cashiers are no longer expected to think, so I don't expect them to. I am not interested in nailing jello to a tree.Time and again, they'll scan a couple of heavy items, then reach over half the pile to get that one squishy, fragile item and cram it into a bag with two 1lb cans of soup.They'll separate all of the regrigerated and frozen items, one per bag, with everything else. All so I can make 20 trips to the freezer instead of just dropping one or two bags into the freezer in a single trip.The best I have seen them do, in the last decade, is refrain from putting food items in the same bag with the ant poison, but that's about it.So, since I am not allowed to beat the cashier with my smashed eggs, or the hammer they dropped on top of my eggs, I shall continue to use the self checkout.Now, if Walmart would kindly fix the self checkout machines so that they'll actually scan fabric barcodes without shitting themselves...I will be very pleased indeed.Well, I'm not persnickety, am I?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I know the firefighter in KCMO was a woke decision. The firefighter was unarmed at all times. The jerk pitching a fit over some cheap cigars was armed, then his girlfriend took the gun and shot the unarmed firefighter. No charges brought, ruled self defense.If the Missouri stance is that you are guilty until proven innocent during a stand your geound situation, then stand your ground is completely nullified as a law.I took screenshots of part of the email I received from the Missouri Firearms Coalition. I apparently need to do some digging.

A little bit of training goes a long way.You can tell the clerk was scared, but had some solid training somewhere.It looked like he completely unloaded on the guy outa pure fear, not training. I know some train people to just unload on a perp. But the simple fact he was still scared to go past the now deceased guy says a lot. He still had presence of mind to grab his phone on the way out.Training and practice are key. You never know how you will react in a fight or flight situation. It is even possible to black out during fight or flight. The only thing you can do is learn and train. Cram as much as you can into your head so that if it ever happens that you are in a situation, your subconcious has knowledge to draw on while your concious self does a total freak out.Thank God it wasn't a situation involving an attacker, but I have blacked out during an emergency. I usually call it a partial black out, I have flash memory of a few points during the situation. Yeah, I was driving a car during a fight or flight black out. That fact scared me more than anything else when it was all over and I tried to remember everything. I couldn't. My kid was bleeding and I couldn't find the wound. Turned out she bit her tongue far enough back that it even suprised the doctor! 🤣🤣🤣I use that as an example. Your brain is weird and amazing. Your lizard brain may take over, but arming it with plenty of knowledge does absolute wonders and can save your bacon.

Slavery was only part of it, as it was part of the South's economy. The South had no industry and the North did. Northern companies didn't like the Southern plantation owners shipping their cotton to England. They were getting a better deal from England than what they were getting from the Northern companies. The companies paid low wages, charged rent for company housing and high prices at the company store. Declaring the blacks as human would've made jim crow laws impossible...but it would've gotten Lincoln shot sooner. The Rothschilds wanted the U.S. split and were poised to fund the English takeover in the North and French in the South. Career women usually have few, if any achievements. Once upon a time, art/music was an achievement. Cooking, an achievement. Sewing, an achievement. Physical strength, an achievement. (Think pioneer or farming.) Reading/writing/mathmatics, an achievement. (Think proper budgeting of the household.) Healing, an achievement. (Think keeping you and your kids alive.)If she could feed and clothe you and your children, warm the house and heal your body, she was endowed with many achievements.I've met "career women" whom I have had to show how to do the simplest of household tasks.Oh, and the art/music can make your home pleasant. Especially if YOU have this achievement as well. Society no longer understands what an achievement is.This is a duck I hatched and raised from a duckling, cared for, fed, killed, butchered, then roasted to feed my husband and our guest.This is not to toot my own horn, but to give an example of what society once thought achievements were.
