Nothing but barren desert.As a kid, my mom warned me to never go out into the desert hiking, dirt bike riding, snake hunting, etc because Mexican gang members go through there to smuggle drugs/people, kidnap, murder, and bury bodies. She was born in Mexico and knew.

2-The desert was always turning up new decomposed bodies, bones, heads, etc. All a result of Mexican Cartels. It wasn't a secret. Everyone knew and almost everyone hated it. Back in the early 80's my mom told me about Moroccan and Lebanese Muslims coming in illegally. I wondered why? She said, "Drugs, guns, kidnapping."So I've known the relationship between Mexican & Islamic cartels for some time, and yet no one ever did a damn thing.

5- WeBuildTheWall knew something about the people in the community and got those permits finalized lightning fast for a reason.There are ALOT of shady and possibly compromised people posing as do-gooders that could stop the wall from being built if they knew the plans ahead of time. @Dawnz Like I mentioned, there are a lot of bad actors in that area. Even if that gate is closed, illegals are getting smuggled in. Notice that train on the left?The trains are used for trafficking from Juarez and they go towards Albuquerque and Phoenix, which are major distribution hubs.

@Dawnz This pic is bittersweet for me. My childhood memories of the beautiful Franklin Mountains which has some of the most picturesque sunsets mixed with the fact this area is changed forever because of the cartels/terrorists/chicoms. Pisses me off

During that time, Law Enforcement Officers, including myself and many personal friends saw a massive rise in psychotic and guerrilla like violence. @Debradelai One of my best friends who is a State Trooper for almost 30 yrs said to me that for the first time in his career he actually believed the hate mongers were going to succeed in starting a race war. We were seriously worried. We always laugh at assholes like Farrakhan and David Duke, but this was the first time it was palpable on the street and in the prison. The resulting riots, assaults, and murders were never condemned by people like Soros.
