If you have Hulu - "History of the World Part 2" starts today with the first 2 episodes available now. I laughed at the original - when Mel Brooks as Moses dropped a tablet of commandments thus reducing the laws from 15 to 10.😅

Got my tax refunds back from the state and the feds. They amounted to less than what it cost me to have my taxes prepared. Either I finally figured out how to break even with the state and feds or I am sub-poor. Hmmm. 🤨

Just saw a baby (tiny) cottontail noshing on some tender, ornamental sedge near my patio. Better a bunny than a black bear raiding bird-feeders caught on surveillance cameras in Lake County. Think the bear is a refugee from behind the great Cheddar Curtain of Wisconsin.🐇

My Covid Diary - Day 2 Showered off more fever sweat, tried to eat some toast & marmalade. Not much of an appetite. Cool and drizzly outside. Will try to complete cleaning chores I blew off this awful, sick weekend. Laundering bedclothes and towels. Attempting to banish the sick from my little home.🤒

My part time job dissolved because I wasn't able to summon the strength and stamina required to chase after kids after my autumn case of Covid. Recovery has been slow for me and I had some complications but it became a safety issue for the school. I get it. I was healthy and vibrant pre-virus. So now I face the holidays without a little income stream ~ a Dickensian Christmas ~ and have to hunt for another part-time job during the Midwestern winter. Ugh.😞

@wjmaggos Yes, a Bears fan. But I went to school in the PNW and still love it. Bears need some new blood, in my opinion. Don't think the McKaskeys will pay for it or sell the team.
