       @rees well, she's talking about suffering the effects of poverty and persecution.  Even if she can't stop it, it doesn't take away her right to be upset.  It's like if someone was throwing rocks at you and your friend told you shouldn't be mad, hurt, or scared about the rock guy because you can't stop them from throwing the rocks at you.

       @rees That's my fault for using the analogy of a person throwing rocks.  This is toxic positivity.  Being able to have negative emotions is as critical for your mental health as having positive ones, even if they're unpleasant to witness.  She is having a moment.  You don't know what she's like when she isn't writing this rant.  But right now she is suffering and looking for someone who will listen to express these emotions to.
