I’m burying myself in #art this weekend, point blank period.- Working on unfinished #writing projects.- Editing a completed #novel to prepare to upload to my #KoFi shop.- Beginning #DazStudio renders of my Patreon series that I’ve been planning for about a year.- READING A BOOK.After the week I just finished enduring at work, I feel like I’ve earned it. I deserve it.Dear fellow #artist,ALWAYS be kind to yourself and give YOURSELF permission to create or enjoy the creativity of others. ALWAYS extend that grace to yourself. And when the world feels like it’s going to hell around you, you still have the right to bless yourself with art.

You know…imma change it up this week.I’ve spend a lot of time on here lately attempting to persuade people to support me and my #art and my #writing on here. This week, inspired by @Mrfunkedude, I’m going to spend the next seven days boosting and promoting other members of the #MastoArt community. #Mastodon and the #Fediverse as done so much for me in the relatively short time I’ve been here, it’s only right that I do what I can to give back.

@cattailnu He’d been marooned on the oasis for seven years now, surviving on fish and edible grains. Finding the orange grove was a pleasant surprise. It made the fish plates more palatable when combined with the wild onions. Tools were limited. Options were few. One day, he knew he would succeed at making a long-lasting fire. But until then, raw orange fish was the menu item of the day.
