2/6only 2 employees were masking.Covid numbers are increasing across Canada.Also, the staff was no longer enforcing isolation rules. My wife lost it when a very ill resident was seated in the dining room. That resident was coughing and Spitting On the Floor. He was sitting next to a woman who had just returned from a lengthy hospital stay because of an operation and She was using OXYGEN 24-7.My wife pointed this out to staff. they spoke to the nurse who said, (more below)

6/6had a case of it in our room.Each mealtime staff asked her to please eat and she refused.This is the second day of her fasting. Late this morning they announced everyone is confined to their room until further notice.Every staff member has to wear a mask at all times. We heard the manager yelling at one who was refusing to mask up.All visitors are now required to wear a mask properly.BTW I transcribed the conversation from a recording.(My wife set up a camera with audio)End of post.

PS. My wife is eating again.Edited for UPDATE:Staff have been testing residents for COVID-19.Looking from our doorway, we can see that about half the doors have signs warning staff to wear PPE and there are "Droplet Warning and Precautions Instructions" signs on the doors.One staff member said she when this is "over" she wants to give my wife a big hug because management told her there was no COVID. Her husband has been battling cancer for nearly two years. He is vulnerable.
