@matthannon They think it’s too high risk, and they fear lack of support from the media and attacks from ‘populists’ who just exploit controversy over reality. Sadly the political ‘logic’ where we have first past post just entrenches the current approach. But as you say, reality will be with us very soon and be very scary, frightened to think how that will be dealt with by politicians who are already showing their willingness to embrace totalitarianism.
