       @Wolven Why do you call it Highly invasive? Topics appears less invasive than the current tracking-based ad delivery system we've been suffering with for many years.(And no, I don't use Chrome, I'm a happy Firefox + uBlock Origin user.)

       @Wolven Topics seems well abstracted, collection is by the browser, not Google servers, advertisers won't know where you've been, just that you may be interested in less than a handful of topics, which change, & can include a random one you're not interested in.Contrast that limited info with current (actually invasive) tracking whereby advertisers literally know which Websites you've visited.Of course Google themselves already know where you've been if you're logged into Chrome, use Maps, etc
