@futurebird Last winter Cape Breton got incredible amount of snow -150 cm in 1 storm. This summer saw huge decrease in amount of ants. Could repreated freezing & thawing kill them?

@futurebird I wish I could hear my mothers voice again. I thought I was being nice by regularly calling her. It was the opposite - she gave me support by being interested in every boring detail of my life.

@stux We have more in common in terms of social issues. I remember Stephen Harper (former PM) saying Canada was becoming too much like Scandinavian countries & I thought - this is bad?

@stux 10 years ago on same day sitting at a noisy cafe in Amsterdam. At 20:00 we could hear the birds sing it was so quiet. Impressive - particularly b/c we visited Groesbeek to find a great uncle’s grave the previous day.

@futurebird Tariffs can't be both a bargaining chip for negotiation & a spur to investment. Who builds a factory when a tariff may be gone next week? It is the worst of both worlds - higher prices & no increase in factories.
