@kyleI am facing similar challenges but with a twist:How do you provide context of what you want to reply?Like, do you need some research to do before you can get back?I want to reply at least quickly to let the other side know that I received the message (anxiety) and will respond more at a later time.#GTD works okay for me, so a new project is added to the list with the steps needed.The email gets flagged and I sort by marked, then chronological.

#FOSDEM ain't over for me just yet.Last night a strike started in Liège (hopefully I got the accent right) which affected people trying to leave for Germany by train. There was the option to bridge over by bus a short distance.Still present this morning.Will deal with it after breakfast.Don't get me wrong. I support strikes. I'm worried about getting information in English or German. Hopefully the train station can fill me in into details.Adventure mode unlocked.

It's official.I switched from #NixOS to #KaisenLinux (based on Debian).Although NixOS has some nice traits I can't stand to have the majority of my disk space occupied by nix store.Plus, Debian is better documented.

Good evening 🧃 I've got something to share with you in the Americas 😇 German speaking peers could already read it in https://layer8.space/@RyunoKi/109306925252505930 but I preferred to respect the US election days before distracting you from your important tasks.I handed in my #termination last year with my current employer. The implication being, that I can take on other challenges as of January 2023.I tried to find a #job for a year now to no avail (reasons in 🧵). Now I'm entering freelancing market.

I'm a #webDeveloper working mainly in the #frontend (see also #MayYouLearn) but can also handle #Django or #NodeJS.#ReactJS? #VueJS? If it has to be, even #Angular. Leave it to me. Or learn whatever you are using.But I won't touch banking or insurance. My moral compass points the other way.I insist on #psychologicalSafety. My main motivation to look for #SMB (up to 100 employees).

I equipped my #HomeOffice good enough to be able to #workFromHome. In case you have an office in Germany, I would enter if there is a good reason for it. Not interested in parties. If I need company, I would enter a coworking space instead.I have a broad range of interests and enjoy #networking. Just look at the people I interact over here!I require a flexibility regarding working time to balance family and work.
