       @gwensnyder What's the end game? Accelerated violence? Further division? I'm not advocating yielding an inch to authoritarianism but I'm also not too happy with unbridled violence.

       The USA has in place a nearly perfect Mass Killer Assembly Line. Crisis times, a bumbling but repressive surveillance state, economic hardship, crumbling support systems, ecological mayhem plus lots of boredom, rage and drugs.  War materiel as readily available as the pharma it takes to boost the courage of your convictions. There are even fan-boys, encouragers, worshippers to boost them. There are internet scoreboards with rankings based on kills.
