This is my final #CuratorPrompts for the mini challenge to do a #5MinuteSketch of the prompts everyday for 7 days. This was a really fun challenge. I think I've learnt that there's a lot of joy to be had in just making lil studies of stock photos - not everything needs to be some grand art project that has a deeper meaning or purpose, which is something I often struggle with. #CuratorPrompts37 #MastoArt

Last year I discovered the joy of using masking fluid with watercolour paints and in this little experiment I really went to town with it! All the lines are made by painting masking fluid, then adding a layer of watercolour, then repeat adding darker layers each time. Peeling off the masking fluid is incredibly satisfying.#MastoArt #watercolor #watercolour

Been practicing some more collage + mixed media with #CuratorPrompts26 and I gotta say I love how vibrant you can get the colours with this method. Made using paper from magazines plus acrylic paint.#CuratorPrompts #MastoArt #collage

My solution to D&D counters/figurines as I'm on a tight budget and deadline! It's just some rocks from my garden I drew on with acrylic pens. Gonna use them for an irl session I'm running tomorrow to depict the player characters (the top 3 rocks) and some of the NPCs they could potentially encounter/fight.I'll be keeping an eye out for more smooth round rocks to draw on now...#dnd #ttrpg #rocks

First try at painting with gouache. I really like this medium - it has a fluidity about it that reminds me of watercolours, but the option to lay it on thick and get really solid colours, like acrylic. So it's like a mash up of two of my favourite mediums!#MastoArt #Gouache #Trees
