@Raspberry_Pi so that's why I can't buy a Raspberry Pi anywhere? All got sucked up for commercial products? That's ok, have moved on to easier to buy devices and not looking back

With inspiration from @simon and his "everything-to-sqlite" and @datasette projects, I've created apple-news-to-sqlite to save your Apple News Saved Stories to a sqlite database: https://github.com/RhetTbull/apple-news-to-sqlite #python #projects #sqlite #macos #apple #reverseengineering

@Cloudguy I make my own hot sauce from home grown chiles and use that as my go to. Was inspired by @simon to start fermenting hot sauce

@simon @Cloudguy come to think of it, I'm getting my #python heroes mixed up. It was @willmcgugan who inspired the fermented hot sauce 🌶️

@changelog @willmcgugan @jerod The Air Traffic Control meltdown article was fascinating! So much of world infrastructure still runs on legacy systems that parse semi-structured data like this. So now wait till some nefarious actor figures out how to craft a flight plan that intentionally crashes the system...

@simon I'm in both circles. Love pipx and use daily. Think python packaging leaves lots to be desired. Pipx is great if you need a single package. But when you need to install a package with a "^3.9" python requirement and one with a ">=3.9,<3.13" requirement in same venv you're in for fun. Happened to me yesterday 😀
