       @gabriel @atomicpoet @cjd but do you ever wonder that, a system with a free market will always attract and fall prey to those who seek to abuse it? I mean that’s true of any system, but I think with largely unregulated free markets, it’s just asking for some bad actor to come along and abuse the freedom to kill competition and manufacture consent.

       @atomicpoet @thor ahhhh got you there. Yeah I agree. I think it’s very important to practise good hygiene with online identities. Sadly I think the culture around social media at the moment doesn’t foster that. Unfortunately, I think many people are going to find out the hard way sadly

       @thor @atomicpoet welllll, to be fair, I think it isn’t necessarily the worst thing in the world to be guarded about data that’s so personal to us. Like, it doesn’t even necessarily mean that we’re worried about other people we’re interacting with, so much as what the platforms might do with that data. At least for me anyways.

       @stux You know, I'm always amazed about how people centric towns and cities are in the netherlands, and I'm always super excited to see how things will progress and develop with them in the future. I just wish that more countries followed that model! Actually thinking about how to make towns and cities more liveable and enjoyable.
