I see people and am sometimes that person who uses pronouns wrong so I would very much like to find a way for people who are trying to be supportive to actually not constantly put the burden on trans people to correct all of us cis people. Like obviously asking anyone that "I think" is trans or some form of ally about their pronouns isnt a good system, and asking every single person I introduce myself to their prefered pronouns doesn't exactly feel the safest for them or I and demands a lot of trust in me from the person involved. I for a long time have been just trying to default speak as gender neutral as possible, but 1 this isn't exactly the way my brain/ language operated for the first 24 years of my life so I still mess up constantly and 2 can be weird and confusing for other people who don't get it. What are your thoughts or ideas? I would very much like to know what actually feels comfy!
