@tek I recently got a new (to me) mobile phone. I have resisted the urge to deface it with stickers. Instead, I got a lovely black wallet case for it. Though I sometimes weaken my resolve - 'oh, a simple black EFF sticker. That would look classy. Or even a b&w Open Org Sticker. Maybe one on the front and other on back. NOOO stop'.

@tek well, he seemed to have had some odd politics way back. But it seems more recent that people have been digging up his supposed support of Gulf War, and extreme libertarian defence of Nazis freedom to march in the streets. Alas, the article doesn't really explore the privacy dangers, or attempt to suggest more privacy respecting alternatives.The article uses language suggesting climate heating denialism. E.g. "supposedly deemed too hot for humans", "the alleged repercussions of climate change"."..travelers might be forced to relinquish the horizon-expansion privileges". A PRIVILEDGE the majority world's inhabitants can't afford.
