My decision to avoid all forms of social grace and communication with a toxic family member has caused a stir in the family. Apparently I am too young and inexperienced to understand that “holding a grudge” is not the right thing. I turned around and said, “I am not holding a grudge. I am just simply not entertaining the negativity and welcoming it back into my life.” “But you hurt their feelings.”“Too bad, they didn’t consider this when they hurt mine”. I am healed.

Young women are expected to not have “arrogance” or “attitude”. Specially in a Brahmin family, women who are conditioned and participate in this toxic cesspool don’t let other young women assert themselves. Brahmin families are the absolute worst, they not only groom their women to indoctrinate this shitfest they call so proudly as “tradition”... they also shit on everyone else who tries to call out their toxic behaviour.

Friends on Mastodon, I just want to let you know that India is completely engulfed in communal violence. Upper caste Hindus are tactically attacking minority Muslim homes in Delhi. There have been so many deaths, ever since 2020 began its only been news of violence in our nation. Our government, police forces and courts have failed to protect us. Right wing extremism will finish us all.

At the lowest of low points in my life. Not a friend to talk to, nobody to lean on. Really envy folks who have support systems, even if it’s just one or two people to confide in. 2020 has been pushing me over the edge.
