@0cean the world is incredibly shallow. When I had an eating disorder and I was so skinny, I was constantly asked if I was a model (I am 5'11"). It made me feel good to get that attention and reinforced an eating disorder I consistently justified. My daily existence among people super skinny and performing femininity was monumentally easier but I was so unhappy. I wore makeup all the time and dresses super feminine. Now, I don't really wear makeup, I've gained a normal amount of weight back and I cut my hair. I don't get those "omg you're AMAZING GORGEOUS!1!1!1" comments any more, and at first it stung but I had to sit with it and wonder why my self image and happiness was being damaged Because of others opinions of me. I realized feeling desired superficially wasn't something I wanted any more. I want to build authentic connection. Being in my mid/late thirties now, I just wish I learned this lesson sooner, ya know?

Capitalism is draining my soul. I work in an hour, and it's SERIOUSLY so tempting to just quit. Of course I cannot, Because I would be homeless, can't eat (etc), but this is so draining, I cannot do it. I just want to be the old witch at the corner house with an amazing overgrown garden.

Rant:Radical Feminist say we are anti war, bit what exactly do they think we're doing with men? We have to arm ourselves to the teeth to protect ourselves; even linguistically. Men terrorise women and women are at active war with men. Men actively hurt us, and we have to strike back. Just because I don't want that, or recommend it, doesn't mean that in order to be a true authentic"rad" I have to "let down my guard" Because I am so "anti war." Until we can authentically achieve separatism, then I'll think about anti war, and even then I am ok with women defending their gates.

Teen pregnancy at the hands of grown men, rape, murder, assault, molestation, PTSD, lack of shelters for this, lack of spaces for this, no healthcare, no wealth, no power distribution, EXPLOITATION of women's bodies, massive trafficking of women. If this is not war we're in, then what is it? Is this not a state of conflict between men and women? If women don't comply, what happens to us? Where do we end up?
