got a call from my store manager today with some shockingly good news:- company is paying for 100% of my health, dental, & vision ins until i return to work.- company is filing for unemployment on my behalf. - i am being furloughed, so i can remain on leave as long as i choose, and when i want to return i’ll contact them and we’ll decide based on business an exact date of return. i will retain 100% of my existing tenure and PTO allotments.

my annoying roommate does drag.since quarantimes, they’ve been doing drag via online shows that involve sending in a video.i have helped them film four videos at this point, each time involving moving around MY furniture, using some of my own possessions to set up the most interesting scene possible, and filming at lease five takes PLUS taking still photos for them at some point before or after filming.none of that is “easy” but i was trying to be helpful and nice!

not to mention this process takes at least an hour and a half if not two hours from setup to breakdown, and im ALWAYS doing all the setting up and breaking down! which is time i could be using my own space to do my own things!!!ANYWAY. they’ve been “thankful” verbally. this weekend they went to see their drag family, who helped them film and one queen literally edited the entire video for them to make it look cool, which was a nice thing to do. good job, Khloe Van Pelt. she’s great.
