       @SuperMoosie Iran was never a democracy. People need to learn what that word means. There is no country in the world today that is a democracy,Iran was secular, but never a democracy. It was a legal crime to dissent, media were were imprisoned with jail sentences for criticizing government. The extremist fanatics exploited the people discontent and no Iran executes citizens engaged in homosexuality and women get their skulls crushed if they show hair in public

       @ArchaeoIain Israel is not a democracy. The fact that Israel currently has a minority government proves that it is not a democracy. You misconstrue democracy for democratic. Israel has representatives in government that the people voted  to represent them, thereby making Israel not a democracy
