i think one of the best parts about writing music within a strict form is that audiences know the form even if they can't articulate it.so there's something quietly and sublimely magical about telling someone a feature of a thing they know but can't explain, and their only method of participating is often *further expression*.

Probably gonna do a Patreon post about this shortly.I'm fairly new to 24TET, for a lot of reasons, but my understanding of it is that quarter tones make for small moments of tension when moving around minor thirds and sevenths, and obviously opens the door to some pretty spacey xenharmony, but I admit, I'm just mucking around with minor seventh chords that have like...flat-and-a-half thirds and sevenths.
