Sorry about the "spamwich fest" this morning, but Saturday is when I put on Classical Music, microwave a muffin, and drink a couple of cups of Café Bustelo; which is like the antithesis of decaf. What I'm doing now is the Cyber Age equivalent of shouting at people on a street corner.

I think Deep blue was a rules engine and the rules were derived from analysis of winning games.LLMs derive relationships between words and between other types of data (visual, etc) and then use those relationships to generate plausible replicas of whatever their specialty is.IBM just doesn't want other people creating life first. They aren't worried about their own tech.I believe. This is off of the top of my head. YMMV

@twylo I think it's more like large matrix operations. We can name the operations (or DNS resolver rules and procedures), but it takes a computer to apply the changes (or resolve the domain names).
