Marking when something is a joke or sarcasm or ironic is super helpful for me and a lot of other Autistic people.Sometimes things aren't clear, or I even recognize something as a common joke formula but am unsure what it means in the context.You can use cws or even add /s for sarcasm or /j for a joke That way you can mark certain lines or parts of your post specifically

Friendly reminder that if you're referring to people who aren't LGBTQ+ or part of the Queer community, you can use allocishet, instead of just cishetIt's really nice to see ace and aro spectrum people recognized as part of the community this way, and it helps you be more specific in who you're talking about!

Reminder that pronouns aren't inherently gendered and you can't reliably tell someone's gender by what pronouns they use! Ask or don't assumeThere's no such thing as "male pronouns", "female pronouns" or "enby pronouns"No one is less nonbinary because they don't exclusively use they/them pronouns

I read an article about coming out as asexual for my class and it was based on asexual people's responses from like online ace communitiesAnd someone described themselves as panemotional aromantic asexual and like that's so cool!! Other aroace people are thinking and talking about emotional attraction as separate from romantic and sexual attraction too!A few other people used like homoaffectional or heteroaffectional which I thought was really cool too

This is probably too long of an explanation to put in my bio, but while I use the pronouns they/them and it/its for myself, if you have a set of nongendered pronouns that can be used to refer to anyone of unspecified gender you can also use those for me!Or if, for example, there is a neopronoun set you'd like to start using that way you can use it for me as well. I know that many such pronoun sets have been proposed and they certainly exist in languages other than English!

I'm curious, do you have access to a store or somewhere you can buy ingredients for cooking with (like bread, fruit, vegetables, rice, canned food- something you can cook a meal with) in easy walking/biking/public transit distance to where you live? I'm thinking like around 20 minutes to get there but your scale of what's close may be different from mineAnd like, accessible as in you won't have to cross a 4 lane road on foot without a crossing to get there

I put all the components together and the motherboard needs a BIOS update so I put it on a usb drive after renaming it with the renamer tool and plugged it into the ASUS flashback port but even after I press the button the light doesn't come on to show it's working and nothing shows up on the computer screen even though I have plugged it into the GPU.The fan on the CPU is going so the motherboard should have power. Can anyone help?
