       @sean I know that there are more options too. Just followed a link from here to Invidious, a  video platform that looks terrific. (And some parts of the Fediverse do not yet look terrific, but I won't name names and I have confidence in the missions.) What do you think of the ones you've listed? Recommendations?

       Developing healthy online behavior after years of inflicting damage to my brain on the other sites. I do not intend to trivialize brain injuries by choosing this phrasing. The brain is constantly changing. Unwanted, or maladaptive changes equal harm. The #fediverse and #mastodon are not just alternatives doing the same things as other sites but with fewer users. I’m feeling calmer and more patient and happier. I’m feeling better about strangers & fellow humans. Brain repair is happening here.
