Tech journalists are not censored, so they are best sticking to the mainstream platforms which have more users. It is the alternative journalists who are censored, on climate, on politics, on corruption, who should be moving to Mastodon. But they look at the number of users, rather than at the number of page views per toot, so they stick to censored platforms. @mike @Hey_Beth @atomicpoet @fediversenews

What I love about Mastodon is the quality of the information about climate change. It is alleged that climate change information is censored on the other platforms, there certainly is not much of it. Here there is so much awesome climate change information, I cannot keep up with. Special mention goes to @Snoro who curated over 8,500 English language climate articles, but lots of people have done the same on a smaller scale. @wilf https://uncensorednews.us/climate-change-propaganda

@fsi Thank you for writing this document about open source in Europe. Only thing missing is the business model. How do we encourage a wealth of new IP? I wish I knew the answer, but please at least ask the question, so that others can suggest answers.

What about violence against men? Think of all of the soldiers killed or wounded in Ukraine. Men are both more likely to commit violence, and to be subject to violence. @ajroach42 For 44 Zloty here in Poland, about $12 a month I have an unlimited movie pass. They are currently showing about 10 films. Foreign language movies I will watch multiple times. In the US, that would not buy 1 film ticket.

The height of #Trump stupidity is arresting a judge, and then sending them to trial before another judge. The other judge is clearly going to be on the side of the arrested judge. I am so glad that Trump is an incompetent dictator.
