I need to lose weight, and I'm well aware of this, but it's really hard when the living room TV is always on #FoodNetwork. I am pretty sure my parents have seen every episode of #ThePioneerWoman, #Chopped, #DinersDriveInsAndDives, #TheKitchen, and #BeatBobbyFlay.

@lucifargundam That's hard to explain. I was losing weight, and then they changed the formula of one of my meds. Also, because our oven and stove are not something I can use on my own, I have to eat what my parents cook or vring in. Since it's been so hot in Texas, and Dad's health has been up and down, it's been takeout more often than not.

@lucifargundam I know a lot of people do vegan or gluten/carb free, but that's not feasible or appealing. I just have to eliminate snacks and hope for the best.

If people have a problem with the fact that I'm a #conservative on mastodon, they can and should block me and go on with their lives. I have friends with opposing political views, and it's not a problem. It's real freaking simple. I don't tell them how to run their lives, and they don't tell me how to run mine either.
