I wonder sometimes if my need to be constantly learning new things is a form of escapism. I think it makes me a happier person though. I like my mind to be like a flowing river, not a stagnant pond. There is a beautiful sense of awe and wonder I feel at each new thing I take in. I never want to lose that.
