It still provides all the power and protection that a nation state can for whatever schemes the diaspora want to involve themselves in. But I think they're at loggerheads because Netanyahu and the Temple Institute fanatics behind him are causing too much backlash. They're fine with Israel existing but they don't really care that much about the Yinon plan of expansion. I think it's the left-wing anti-zionist who are the ones mostly responsible for making "le two-state solution" the popular line among leftists who should really be calling for one-state with all the progressive policy that would give Arabs more privilege.

All of the memes about "jewish oligarchs" are now outdated and false because they turned coat after Ukraine. And more to that... "oligarch" is a stupid loaded term. There are rich people in Russia. That's true. But the rich aren't oligarchs because they're subordinate to Putin. It's not like America where there are literal oligarchs and the rich buy power. It's not something the jews would have liked and it seems like it's an ironic communist inversion of the Pale of Settlement. Jews didn't have it good in the Soviet Union.
