@pernia @graf @graf @nekofag nah neko worked on the other older qt widgets apptokodon uses qt quick which is a lot better for these kinds of appsanyway, tokodon (and other kde qt quick apps) use c++ for most of the logic, makes everything kind of a painif i were to make a fedi app i'd use qt quick but instead of c++ just do everything on javascriptespecially because i'd be able to reuse a bunch of the javascript i'm already making for my fedi frontend lol

@pernia @graf @graf @nekofag qt quick is based on a javascript enginemost of the stuff is precompiled of course but programming it is still fundamentally javascriptqt quick's javascript can also be statically typed so it's not that badat least it's convenient to use and makes development very fast
