@Oneeyeking I once got a hold of a roll of receipt paper, photoshopped and printed a receipt for a $600 computer, for a certain date and time, showed up at that time, put the computer on a cart, rolled it up to the receipt checker and I didn't think it was going to hold up because the ink was smudging and it's thermal paper. But I was smooth and pulled it off. I was young ans stupid back then, but also crazy and highly intelligent, that's for sure.

As part of our media deconstruction duties, we can't let John get away with this. Jill Biden was a cat this year. The picture in the newsletter was from last year, where she is dressed... as a fairy? Not much thought went into either costume, we deserve better.And when does the president ever dress up for Halloween? Clinton dressed up as James Madison, I believe, but otherwise, Bushes, Obama, no costumes that I can see.

@CSB I use gaming headset for work... Plantronics makes the RIG 800 XL. I got it because I wanted something wireless, but I didn't want Bluetooth. It has a USB dongle for connectivity but is still wireless. It's comfortable, it souds good, and the mic is pretty good, too.

@CSB I used to use a Plantronics Blackwire C520 for work, but it is wired. Good sound, good mic, tied to the desk when working.

@obihahn He filmed most of his episodes in Muncie, Indiana on the Ball State campus. There is a museum exhibit at the Minnetrista in Muncie commemorating it. I was lucky enough to work at WIPB while taking classes, and got to work on "Connections Live" as a cameraman in the same studio he used.

This meme was found in the newsletter. If John knew anything about the Panama Canal, he'd realize how stupid this meme is. The canal rises 85 feet as it crosses Panama. They didn't cut through to make it even because a series of locks is not only cheaper, but preferred, as the levels of water at both sides are uneven due to the moon phases. Since there is a drought in Panama, and Madden Lake, the feeder lake for the canal, is low, it has caused obvious issues.
