@leo I don't recall if the talk about the Minor's soup base was in the show or after, but I looked to see if it's in Canada. It's not really, but Amazon will get me it for like $62CDN LOL! In any case, it seems like it might be cheaper to get it at https://www.soupbase.com/ (in case you didn't know)

Recording live right now is Windows Weekly with Paul Thurrott (and @leo) which you can watch live at https://twit.tv/live . They started off insulting Clippy (as one does) and then I came across this YT video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bhjNvSSuLM#Windows #WindowsWeekly #TWiT #live

@cmdevans asked a good question. What is the first programming language you would recommend for a new learner, and why? I'll tack on a poll for the lolz but I think a reply really is in order, especially if your answer is very unique. (And because polls only allow 4 choices, apparently.)#programming

Hmmm #AdventOfCode day 12 was path finding (called hill climbing) and day 12+12 (aka 24) is path finding (called avoiding blizzards). Is that a coincidence, or is Eric out of interesting ways to make challenges?

This is not a sponsored post--I am just a big fan. I used Directory Opus on the Amiga when I was a teen, it was amazing. Many years later they no longer produce an Amiga version, but they have a Windows File Explorer replacement. It is not free, but it's worth every penny in my humble opinion. I frequently use its regex rename abilities to save me time with media. My friend loves it for his photo management. You can trial it for free for 60 days. https://www.gpsoft.com.au/#DirectoryOpus

I feel like my government is making me (and all Canadians) look stupid.. C18 is going to be bad for everyone in the long run, just as it has been in Belgium, Spain, Germany and Australia. #StopC18 #NoLinkTaxhttps://www.techdirt.com/2023/03/21/why-link-taxes-like-canadas-c-18-represent-an-end-to-an-open-web/
