@El_Jefe. I'm in backup hell again. I thought I'd do a quick backup of my data on the old laptop so I can have it handy. Not going to happen.Dual boot went well. I downloaded Vivaldi browser. I installed the .Deb for Linux, 6 seconds later, it was installed!!The box says my battery is an 80Whr. But the battery inside says it is a 99Whr. Another bonus!

@klaatu looking back at my purchase of a pack of two earbuds... They were on sale for $3.99 each. However, there was a selection for two pair for $4.99. I selected that option and paid $4.99. When the order arrived, there was only one pair. I contacted Amazon, and they sent out the second pair at no charge. I received a notice from Amazon that if I don't return the item, they would charge me. I chatted with Amazon, and they canceled my charge.Friday, I was charged $5.99 for that second pair of earbuds. I will chat with Amazon tomorrow about a refund, or I may cancel my account for two to five years.I blocked Walmart for that CyberPowerPC for $999.00. Well that box is back in stock for $1999.00. They touted the config as an $1199.00 box that had a $200 discount. So the offer was bogus!! #SMHBTW, I bought a Lenovo Laptop!I got a deal, I see the prices are still dropping on the 2024 models. At this point, I'm still ahead of the game by $200.I saw a discount, and then I had a coupon discount added once the item was in my cart. I could not place the order, so I chatted with a salesperson who wrote the order up as a quote. Switching to free shipping saved me another $50. However, the free shipping was next day ground. After purchase, I received 51,300 rewards points on my Lenovo Rewards Acount. That equals $51.30 of store credit. So, $50 + 51.30 = 101.30 in my favor. The last things were two upgrades. 1. was display. 2. was cpu. I'll fill you in soon. It is an all aluminum case. It is a bit heavy but it is a good long laptop. My Dell Inspiron and my sister's (both the same model and purchased at the same time) are plastic. The hinges broke. The plastic cracked. The heat was not good with that plastic. I need a carrying case. A new mouse. An USB C dongle. There is one more item that I can't remember at this time.

Leo, Mary called me this morning. She was in crisis. I talked her down. I gave her some calls to make. I looked up a doctor. I gave her the info and she gave me an update about what she learned. She said she had a doctors appt today. She got ready for it. Her medical transportation did not show. She tried calling the doctor, and they did not know who she was and did not have an appt scheduled for her.I gave her a phone number for a doctor who closely matched, there was still confusion. When she called back, she told me the transport people did show and were going to take her to an address on Alameda in Burbank. Mary thought she was going to Beverly Hills. Mary said the doctor must have moved. I looked for a doctor on Alameda in Burbank and gave another phone number. Mary called back and said they found her and her appt is next week. Now she must arrange transport. Problem solved!This took three hours to solve.I'm listening to the show and changing settings on the Lenovo.How are you doing?

@klaatu I have 5600Mhz RAM, and the laptop can handle 128 GB RAM...I still don't understand the odd size RAM. SYSTEM76 uses this size RAM. I wonder if it is an overseas thing.
