@thatcosmonaut@foolI agree SW engineering is still lacking standards and standard components that make up a solution for any project no matter how many times we say plug and play, template, cookie cutter, containerized.For good or bad, there is a huge diversity in options, and it drives artisanal one of a kind solutions and coding.

@rye This is amazingly similar to an idea I had but never executed, about a gigantic, house size cat walking in between houses of a regular street. Weldone!

@tomasino @hadenodom I would love to see/learn how a 9+ inch eink display work via pi even if it is not solar powered. a large size ereader costs ~$600, and few owners are happy with them, so having full control/DIY would help.
